Faux Metallic Book Box

Stuff You’ll Need:
1. Paper Mache Book Box
2. Stewart Superior Buff Bronze Palette Metallic Ink Refill /optional – Vermillion Glow, Radiant Rose or Crimson Polish can be sponged on dried flower,  The tips were sponged with Pure Gold
3. Cosmetic Sponge
4. Stewart Superior Palette Glue and Stick Ink Pad and Ink Refill
5. Stewart Superior Metal Leafing
6. Burnishing sponge
7. Heat Tool
8. E-6000 glue

EMBELLISHMENTS:
The embellishments can be found in all craft stores.  The flower is a wooden rose found in floral department.  Fibers, beads, buttons and charms are common products in all crafts stores.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1:  Shake refill bottle of Stewart Superior Buff Bronze Metallic Ink and apply a few drops on cosmetic sponge.  Sponge color to box until it is all covered with ink.  Do not use too much ink, just enough to color the box.  Heat set a few seconds.  
STEP 2:  You have a choice using the glue and stick pad directly to the box or sponge glue and stick  refill to the box.  Apply glue to the edges of the lid of box leaving the center alone.  Heat set until tacky, approx. 25-40 seconds.  Press leafing onto the glue, burnish carefully with sponge, heat set. 
STEP 3:  Add your embellishments.
STEP 4: Enjoy your new heirloom book box or give it as a gift.
